Vaccine flyer The states regulate the distribution and exemptions of vaccines for children and adults. “States have been responsible for public health since 1791, when the Constitution’s 10th amendment granted states any powers not specifically assigned to the federal government. Today, states run vaccination programs, provide health care for the poor, supervise water and food safety, provide health education and emergency preparedness, and more.” (Silberner, 2024) The law does not specifically state that the federal government desires to create legislature to regulate vaccines.
